Lyke, oh noes! Watermarking!
(ROFL. I say that a lot. It’s DA’s infectious noes/oh noes emotes, and the overuse of the word ‘lyke’ on there. ^^; I can’t help it.)
Anyhow. So I’ve spent today uploading my smaller art with watermarks. LMAO. A giant feather and the website name. Since the site name is easy to photoshop out, I thought I’d shove the random feather on there. (It really is random. Changes on every image. XD I know it took longer that way, but I’d already started when I thought ‘oh noes! use a repeated transparancy!’. My mind does tend to work an hour behind what I’m doing when its important.
So I’m sure you’ve all noticed my little notes per page. Mini-rants you could call them. Or rather, legal warnings. XD Not that 15-year old is going to go out of her way to sue someone for steal art. But you never know what might happen. I could do just that. XD So don’t bother stealing. Oh yeah; and if anyone does want to use my work for personal use (e.g desktop backgrounds or whatever, which people have wanted to use them for in the past) then just contact me, and I’ll send you the high res images. Plus side to that is, I can keep a record of everyone I send to, and if my work does happen to appear on “eBay-like” places ever again, I’ll know who to blame, since all of my tracks are now completely covered. The only thing I need to do now is regularly clear out my photobucket, and place different watermarks on the art I request CC on on Gaia, or else Gaians might do the same thing to me. And I cant have that, not after taking all of these precautions. Enough to ruin the purpose of my site. (I could do with DA’s shaking fist emote right now…)
I am not pleased that I’ve had to do this. It really goes to show that you can’t trust people. And obviously, they’ve ruined it for everyone else. Now everyone has to contact me just to get what normally they could right click and save. 0_o People obviously don’t change enough online. There’s still theives here. 
Oh yes…I’m randomly (I know, it really is) working on the illustration for I believe, chapter 4. I haven’t memorised what happens in all of my chapters enough to do them in complete order while I’m stuck in the middle of nowhere…and since it has to be historically correct, right down to what colour jeans Matt wears in it, that limits my work to only being able to be started at home, or beside an active USB drive.
Ah hah! My pet peeve: Art theft.
Oh Noes!
Clearly it’s something I’m going to be facing a lot now. The big question is, how am I going to prevent it? Well, I’ve e-mailed eBay with a complaint…so hopefully this time it’ll be sorted. I’ve watermarked all of my DA stuffs, but it doesn’t prevent theft from here. I’m not sure what to do about that actually, to be honest. Hopefully I’ll think of something.

Not sure about the maths one. Got to check that out. But the A in humanities means I’ve passed and no longer have to take it, so now I get to do sociology 2 lessons a week, on my own in the teaching and learning room. XD Neat. Two hours a week of being my own teacher and listening to Toto. (My iPod)
Right. So I just finished typing up all my details for sending off the contract for that art publishing thing. Mwhaha. Just need to sign it and ship it to Canada. Anyone have a clue about postage on that? 0_O I need to go and check the Royal Mail site.
(Damn the royal mail to hell. They never deliver anything properly. )

Mwhaha. And in slightly older news, I’ve started illustrating my novel (which I have the strange need to rename, and might do so when I draw out a new front cover in traditional media.) I’ve just finished the second chapter, Blackout, illustration. I’m working on Chapter 1’s piece right now…But I keep being sidetracked.

Updates.
So, I’m putting up my latest pieces:
 The first, a thank you to all of my DeviantART watchers, and self-proclaimed ‘fans’, for giving me over 10,000 pageviews. A goal I’ve been aiming for since a couple of months into my time on DA.
This piece was a bit of a nightmare. I lack the knowledge of backgrounds of course, so I just randomly did it black and blue. XD The original one was the stage behind him when looking up; so I thought ‘right. that’s too hard’. XD LMAO. It’s the first piece I really took time on adding detail.
The second one, my second attempt at the obssessive-detail adding; was a painting using a reference from a fellow DA friend of mine. Again, I tried to add as much detail as I possibly could to it to make it look more like Matt, and more life-like. I know it looks a bit creepy from a distance, but if you zoom in on it, on full view, it’ll look a lot better. I promise. LMAO.
Anyhow. As you can see, that’s what I’ve been doing for the past 2-3 days. I’ve STILL not had the time to edit my about page, or shove a to do list on here…and to make things worse, there’s more for me to do now, having made more work for myself. My next task is to send an e-mail to that publisher from DA. Get my work handed over in time. XD
