FTW!!!
I love this Manga, and adore the Anime. Really want to watch the films, despite the subtitle thing. It’s absolutely amazing. I’ve been working on some fanart for it now. I just went out and bought my 12 volumes today <3 As awesome as they look, I wont end up reading them, since I have the .jpg scans for that :p
But of course, I’ll continue to do fanart, using the .jpgs. Hehe. I thought it’d be a good idea to branch away from the world of Matt, not only because Art lessons are forcing me to if I want a decent grade, but because I’m getting a bit bored, painting and drawing the same person non-stop. Don’t get me wrong, Matt’s really fun to draw and such. He’s awesome, and incredibly adorable. But I’m running short of references I like enough to use, and I’m a little bit frustrated. I think I want to test myself. I’m almost 16 now, and I’ve not managed to push myself to the full limit where art is concerned. But that’s because of my restrictions. If I let go of it all, I can go absolutely mad and do anything <3

Updates.
So, I’ve only done two non-Matt paintings at the moment…but hopefully if I find more phenomenal reference pictures, It’ll inspire me again.
Both so far have been of Final Fantasy Characters…so perhaps I should branch out to other places, like perhaps other games, or maybe even other actors/musicians. We’ll see how it goes from here…and what inspires my imagination or screams at me to paint.

Right…so Matt’s sketch in that German book has really inspired me for some wierd reason. 0_o honestly, I have no idea how or why. It was just a random sketch that looked like it’d been done in Sharpie :S
Whatever caused it, I ended up drawing the illustration to chapter 7 last night, which is now up and on the Traditional Art page. I’m currently painting a portrait of Yuna (from Final Fantasy X-2) in her songstress outfit…It’s a bit of a nightmare though. If I went onto my Linux partition, I could paint with ease…but like this, I’m using a PS2 for reference 0_o Anyhow, it is actually going quite well. I have to paint it in two halves, due to a split screen. This is a real chance for me to test my anatomy skills with a ruler. LMFAO. Good thing I have one in the living room XD And of course, for extra reference, I’m using a regular image of her in the songstress outfit, just in case I need more help doing it.
I should have it finished perhaps later, or tomorrow. We’ll see. Oh, and in good news, the eBay auction has been taken down. But apparently the they got my image from someone else, on a CD. :S So it’s a much bigger problem. I guess people did think what my theory was. That perhaps it was official or something. Being a black and white vector and all.
And that’s pretty much it for now. I’ll be continuing myYuna painting now…running up and downstairs desperately. (And in case you’re wondering why I dont just google it…well, I’d already started, and it’s easier this way. Just in case the internet cuts out or whatever, like it sometimes does.)
